6. What are CJK issues / bugs • CJK is an abbreviation for “Chinese-Japanese- Korean” – Sometimes CJKV (including Vietnamese) – In Vietnam, Chinese characters were used in the past. • Chinese, Japanese, and Korean are different languages and different culture – But they have some common features

9. TDF : Next Decade Manifesto • “To support the preservation of mother tongue by encouraging people to translate,document, 　 support, and promote our office productivity tools in their mother tongue” • For non-Western language people, this is a very important point

19. Japanese calendar : Calc • In Japan, both the Western calendar and Japanese calendar are used • When the emperor changes, the Japanese era (calendar) also changes
20. Differences in rules among CJK • There are many CJK features that have different requirements and behavior depending on the language • The position and shape of commas are different between Chinese and Japanese.

33. Does not display some characters when inputting Japanese: Bug#152293 • During Japanese input, the part exceeding the width of the cell is not displayed • Only windows • Still not fixed • I don't know if this is only in Japanese
34. Bug 161145 - Japanese characters (kanjis, hiragana, katana...) have an extra spacing since version LO 7 • This is a regression 6.4 24.8
35. Japanese community activities and TDF’s efforts
36. Contributors retirement and joining • Japanese community started in 2010, and Japanese team was established in 2011 • Veterans are retiring more before and during COVID • There are some new contributors
37. Ask LibreOffice: Japanese Mostly 2-3 questions or comments per week Occasionally a few questions
38. Ask to Bugzilla • Information from the Q&A web site (Ask) can also lead to bug reports

Japanese Team • The Japan team is part of the Japanese community • Communication with other organization and global communities • Japanese events management and community support • There are only two active members at the moment. And other members active occasionally – There are several active members of the Japanese community outside of the Japanese team
41. Communication • Mailing lists and Telegram • Translation discussion mainly ML, but – We sometimes discuss things on Telegram, – and sometimes we discuss things at hack fests and make decisions.
42. Events • Almost still online event – Because organizers are almost two(meguro-san, me) • Weekly Hackfest: Online – Work together(like a mob work). – Answers on Ask , UI/Help translation on Weblate • Study meetup held once every 3-4 months: Online

47. Next year Asia Conference (in Japan) • 2019(Japan), 2023(Indnesia), 2024(Taiwan) • Most of the participants were Taiwanese, Indonesian, and Japanese. • Next is the second round. • I hope other Asian contributors will join us
48. Next year Asia Conference (in Japan) • Target date is early December 2025 in Tokyo, but it has not yet been decided
