There isn't any one way to deliver staff development and training in learning technologies. One consideration that usually arises is one of time. Can we expect practitioners to invest time to attend training that may not be relevant or the wrong level? In an attempt to increase the impact of training, Gloucestershire College introduced a menu of Short and Sweet training sessions from which teams could pick and mix from. Each session is 15 minutes long. The sessions usually combined a briefing and a demonstration, an explanation of how it enhances teaching, learning and assessment, followed up by questions. Some sessions were more interactive. This showcase will discuss the menu and talk about impact, along with practitioner and learner feedback.
