João Cunha is a self-taught Developer and Product Manager who's spent over a decade pushing for a better and faster web. He has worked with both small businesses and industry-leading companies that serve billions of page views per month, on products where performance and accessibility are paramount.

Originally from São Paulo, João Cunha moved to sunny Dubai to work at Dubizzle/OLX, the UAE's largest website. In 2015 he decided to give remote another chance and travel more, so he joined FetLife, the largest adult social network in the world. Been a nomad ever since.

João Cunha is deeply passionate about User Experience and Web Performance - his design peers say he has a very keen eye for details. Gotta give them that, but he tries not to let perfect get in the way of better. He enjoys collaborating with a cross-functional team from the inception of a feature to its production deployment.

He's an avid traveler and a big time foodie, and his hobbies include cooking for friends, boxing, and photography. He also speaks at events and organize a few communities; he's GDG (Google Developers Group) Presidente Prudente's Lead Organizer.
