My dog Penny has been with my family for 15
years. We love her dearly, but she can be a little…. Eccentric.
She hates everybody,
She terrorizes the neighborhood on walks,
She’s incredibly unphotogenic,
Barks at anything and everything,
Steals food,
Aaaand leaves us little... gifts.
*Hrk*
*HACK*
sigh…
When I left for college, my mom gave me a
throw pillow with a picture of Penny printed on it.
Which I thought was...
Kinda silly.
“Now you won’t miss her while you’re gone!” “Uh… Sure
Thanks mom.”
Inevitably, I told my new friends at school about Penny.
“Y’all, my mom just sent me a photo of my dog, check it out.”
……
“… What?”
“She’s… uh, cute.” “Yeeeah, really really… cute.”
“Lydia. You’re dog is creepy.”
“Whaaaaat?”
“… Oh. Yeah she kinda is.”
“Penny looks like an eldritch monster disguised as a dog.”

“Well I think that Penny sounds like a demon from
hell sent here to punish you.”

“Well I think that Penny is the reincarnation of a
creepy, sickly little victorian child.”

“Wait a second!”
*POOF*
“Listen guys, you would get it if you met her.”
“Sure she’s terrible… and mean… and really, really creepy…”
“But! In an endearing way.”
