Driving Issues

Leon, Soobin, and Xander take a drive to get to Myrina's party. Simple task, right? That would be the case if Leon wasn't an overly defensive driver and Soobin wasn't the definition of "road rage". This takes place in the world of Agency, a project I created that includes visual development pieces, animations, and comics.

5. FX: Honking still going in the background
6. Soobin: Bye eomma!
7. S: ALRIGHT I hear you!
8. FX: Car door opening up
9. FX: Door shutting [Soobin sits down, Leon in the front with Xander in the back]
10. [They all greet each other]
11. FX: Adjusting side view mirror

15. FX: Car revving up and driving off
16. FX: Music playing from the car as they drive
20. S: Myrina said we don’t gotta be there till 3. Why’d we leave so soon?
21. L: Well, she’ll need some help setting up, so why not be helpful friends?
22. Offscreen, S: Yeah right, you just want some alone time with her~. GPS: In 30 feet, turn left.
23. FX: Talking in background muffled
24. GPS: In 10 feet, turn left.
26. GPS: Turn left NOW!
27. FX: Car screeches right
28. [Sudden stop followed by silence]
29. S: Um, what the FUCK was that?
30. L: S-sorry! I wasn’t paying attention!
31. L: Look, I’ll just make a U-turn.
32. [Car pulls up to opening]
33. FX: Bustling sounds of other cars driving by
37. S: Leon, make the fucking turn! Stop letting every Tom, Dick, and Harry in!
38. L: I know what I’m doing Soobin, chill!
39. [Car finally turns around]
40. [Quickly approaching intersection]
41. FX: Arguing and talking over each other
43. X: Um…guys, you might wanna look out.
45. All: AHHHHHHHHHHHH
46. FX: Wheels come to screeching halt
47. FX: Car comes down hard
48. [silence]
49. S: That’s it. I’ve had enough! I’m taking the wheel, get your ass in this seat.
50. FX: Car revving up again S: We’d get there in 10 days if you kept that up.
51. FX: Car driving smoothly along road
52. GPS: In 10 feet, turn right.
53. FX: Car gliding as it turns
54. GPS: For 2 miles, keep straight.
55. [Cars come to stop at a light]
56. FX: Soft music playing from radio
57. [silence]
58. FX: Small grumble
59. [silence]
60. FX: Slight shaking and grumbling louder
61. [light finally changes]
62. [Cars at a stand still]
63. FX: Honking loudly S: The light’s GREEN! Move your ASS!
64. FX: Still honking, cars slowly moving
65. [Cars moving alongside]
66. [Starts to drive up]
67. FX: Car turning into lane
68. FX: Classical music playing from inside car radio, man humming

72. FX: Constant honking S: WHERE THE FUCK DID YOU LEARN HOW TO DRIVE?!
73. FX: Loud honking blocking out curse words
74. L: Dude, I think it’s time for me to take the wheel again.
75. S: NO WAY! You’re just as bad as these assholes!
