"Into the Cave" Book-To-Storyboard Project.

In 2024, I wanted to do do my 10-year-old self a solid and start re-reading my favorite book series that I had come across in elementary.

The series was called *Peter and the Starcatchers,* by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. This story was a prequel re-telling of Peter Pan and how Neverland was discovered.

The chapter *“Into the Cave”* quickly became a favorite of mine. Two sailors, along with Peter and the lost boys who are off elsewhere, were all washed up on an island after an encounter with Pirates that wrecked their ship. On their ship was a magical treasure that the two sailors are searching for. When they discover fish turned into “she-fish” in a lagoon, they know they must be getting close to finding the chest before everyone else does.
