You have been eaten by a grue: Self-service lessons from a 36-year-old video game

Delivering good self-service is complicated, but I use three simple rules to keep my docs laser-focused on our customer's needs—rules I picked up from '80s text-based adventure games. In this talk, we'll take a quick look at the help manuals from Infocom's Zork games as an example of awesome self-service, and look at how to apply what they do to improve our own docs.
