  9. Designing the resume Use templates This could help kickstart the

    resume creation Structure the content Just like doing your paper: i.e. Use heading as the section title. Put the experience chronologically Most recent should be shown first
  10. Don’t follow this stupid trend Subjective Everyone has their own

    standard. Not accountable How to guarantee a 100% score? Distractive The graphic would more dominant than the rest of the page.
  11. The design is not just what it looks like and

    feels like. The design is how it works.
  12. Softwares don’t matter You can use any software to create

    your own resume. Make sure you can export the resume as a PDF file: 1. To keep the size small. 2. To make it compatible in any devices.
  13. Use any text editor 1. List down your experience (work,

    volunteer, education, organizations). 2. Write down the job description, better, your impacts. Use any editor (either text or graphic) For this exercise we’ll be using Canva. 1. Open Canva and use any resume template you like. Google “Canva resume template” or use this link: rifat.id/alsacanva 2. Start pasting the text from the text editor. 3. Rearrange the layout as needed. 4. Download as PDF.
