8. 5 Lessons learnt • Global access: Using a learning platform enables us to quickly and easily offer new learning content irrespective of where learners live. • Synergies and sharing: A learning platform enables partners to re-use and further develop content from individual projects or initiatives to make it available to new user groups in different settings and different countries. • Reaching learners in their context: A learning platform has to work hard to reach learner groups, e.g. conversion of page visits to registered learners and converting registered to active learners. • Reaching learners through a variety of forms of learning: It is important to offer multiple forms of learning, including blended learning. • Giving value through connecting to ecosystems: A learning platform has to give value to the learners, i.e. give access to new opportunities based on the learning.
