A presentation made about my in-progress portfolio website redesign! Done in late April of 2025, the website redesign was completed in Late June 2025 and began work as early as January 2025.

2. i have to make an interesting and engaging website… while also being concise for people looking to hire me.
3. my existing website design! it has a very simply conveyed personality it isn’t too difficult to access works, but the carousel takes up a bit too much space.
4. how do i make my website more engaging…
8. oooo it’s prettier now (lighting ily), this is looking really great!
10. the entire format falls apart if you try to use it on mobile.
11. by making every element a separate layer… let me introduce you to…
21. doing this allowed my friend and i to make a dynamic parallaxing system based on the size of your window to ensure that no matter the aspect ratio of the device or window you are viewing it on, you’ll be able to see all of the elements to click on while still looking good. (the goal for mobile would be this, a horizontally squished version of the main format)
22. the (amazing) result! (thank you sm chloe for the coding help <3) (demo with filler layers) (the real deal with the temporary layers i made)
23. (we also added a small locational parallax based on where your cursor is :> ) (and we’ll get back to that object highlight toggle later…)
24. now to hand- draw the layers*… *i have not finished drawing the layers sob
25. the elements i’ve done so far, separated!
26. the rest of the website now has to be remodeled to match this new aesthetic and visual style… more concept / asset art time !!
31. - concise, efficient presentation of storyboards - basic description of project the boards were made for - paper roll scrolls with the projects, the rest of the page is static. lighting is also static. - made to look like an actual storyboarding page!
33. - more meandering format - polaroid photos pinned to a corkboard - two aspect ratios – wide and square - basic titles and info below images - maybe have polaroids have slight randomized rotation - polaroids and looping background scroll
34. i did a little animated demo showcasing how objects (when hovered over) will appear on the main page! thank u for volunteering to be clicked pine
35. - draw the rest of the layers - finalize system for carousel tv - implement new storyboards & portfolio page - add organizational tags & filter system to portfolio page (i.e. 3D, animation, game dev, etc.) - design & implement contact page - update website with new stuff - daytime reactive system??? - different landing page lighting and background based on system time (morning, day, evening, night) - oh gosh this is a lot of drawing
