 COOCKLE Jon Yongfook Cockle describes himself as a

    “digital nomad”. A UK-born tech entrepreneur, Cockle began his career in Japan, working at an assortment of boutique agencies as well as Dentsu over the best part of a decade. Today, he relishes being able to work remotely without ties to any particular place, and has divided most of the past year between a wide range of locations across Southeast Asia. Coockle is man behind a couple of startups; one of them is Pitchpigeon, a press release distribution platform for tech companies, and the recipe-sharing website Open Source Food, which Time named among the 50 best websites of 2008 and was subsequently acquired by Tsavo Media. He is the author of the Growth Hacking Handbook and a mentor to startups via the Singapore Management University and True Incube Thailand.

    stressful commutes in favor of upscale coliving spaces in dream destinations around the globe. Rather than juggling multiple bookings and rates, Roam users pay a flat rate of $500 a week (or $1,800 a month) to book time at any of the company’s properties.
