DeKalb District 7 2020 Homeowners Association Town Hall

The 2020 DeKalb County District 7 HOA Virtual Town Hall took place on September 17, 2020 at 6PM and provided valuable information on best practices for running a successful association and how to start an HOA, as well as answered frequently asked questions. Co-hosted by DeKalb County Commissioner Lorraine Cochran-Johnson and Lance Hammonds, chair of The Rockbridge Coalition, the HOA Town Hall featured the following topics: Community Policing and Public Safety, Neighborhood Watch, Code Compliance, Blight Elimination, Municipal Code and HOA Management and Organization. Speakers included:

Although the police department does not aid in establishing an HOA, we share the responsibility of deterring crime by assisting in setting up effective Neighborhood Watch Programs.
