2. After 9 months of sampling, blending and drinking, he got to the current award winning blend of The Duppy Share. We cant wait for him to tell us all about it. George launched The Duppy Share in 2015. Always an enormous fan of rum and of the Caribbean, he was desperate to create a brand that would bring people together in their love of rum. On a trip to Jamaica he happened to be in a bar on the beach. There a bartender told him that there was a concept called The Duppy Share, which was the name of the rum that fun loving spirits steal from the best distilleries in the Caribbean. He’d always wanted to create a blend of rums from the Caribbean that was more than the rum of its parts, and the Duppies had blazed a trail for him. If they could do it then why couldn’t he?
