but first…
what makes a good plugin?
CRITERIA: • WP coding conventions / standards • Well designed
/ intuitive usability • High rating • Maintained (recently updated and has respected and/or several authors) • WP.org vs private plugins • Does not duplicate abilities already built into WP core • Free and/or cheap preferably
…and in no particular order:
1
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-nested-pages/
2
https://wordpress.org/plugins/ninja-forms/ ALTERNATIVES: Contact Form 7 Gravity Forms JetPack Forms
3
https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-media-replace/
4
https://wordpress.org/plugins/backwpup/ ALTERNATIVES: Dropmysite VaultPress Managed Hosting
5
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpcore/
