17. S T E P 1 - G E T M U LT I C H A N N E L • In order to sync your products to bidorbuy you need to activate the multichannel product. • We strongly advise taking a few minutes to watch the "Multichannel Explained" video to get a good idea of how the system works.
18. S T E P 2 - A D D A P R O D U C T S O U R C E • In order for multichannel to work, a product source must be selected. At present, this will be your Shopify Store. • To complete the process install uAfrica Multichannel on your Shopify Store
19. S T E P 3 - A D D A P R O D U C T C H A N N E L • Now a product channel must be selected. At present, this will be your bidorbuy account • You will also need to sign into your bidorbuy selling account or create an account at this stage

S T E P 4 - C R E AT I N G R U L E S F O R Y O U R P R O D U C T C H A N N E L • The Rule Engine is the most important aspect of Multichannel for bidorbuy users as this determines where your products are listed on bidorbuy. • The rules are based on conditions such as Product Title, Product Type, Vendor, Tags or Variant titles used on the product

S T E P 4 P T. 2 - C R E AT I N G R U L E S F O R Y O U R P R O D U C T C H A N N E L • In the rule engine, match criteria such as Product Tags and Titles, Using the specific match type these variables can be used to allocate the categories and shipping rates your products are associated with on bidorbuy • Under conditions - different match types such as 'contains' , 'matches exactly' or 'starts with' can be used in order to assign different rules to different items. • In the event, that 2 rules are applied to the same product the hierarchy of rules comes into play. Therefore the first rule will be applied to the product and the second rule ignored

S T E P 4 P T. 3 - C R E AT I N G S H I P P I N G O N B I D O R B U Y • The rule engine will allow you to assign different shipping rates on bidorbuy to different ranges or types of products which we call Product Classes • In order for this to be achieved you must first set up your shipping on bidorbuy. To do this, navigate to "Shipping Charges" on your bidorbuy Selling Page. • You will see that our shipping table is divided into classes and methods. Methods refer to service providers (e.g. Courier or SAPO) and Product Classes refer to specific lines or types of products. E.g a computer seller may have the following classes: Laptops; Peripherals and Towers to refer to the different sizes of items.
23. S T E P 4 P T. 4 - C R E AT I N G S H I P P I N G O N B I D O R B U Y. • Each Product Class can have multiple methods associated to it. This means, using our computers example, that the seller can offer SAPO or Courier Shipping on each of the items and give the customer the choice of how to have the item shipped to them. • Once you have set up your classes you will be able to associate different products (based on Tags, Title etc.) to different bidorbuy Product Classes. • This is done using the "Assign Product Class" parameter of the Rule Engine.

S T E P 5 - S Y N C H R O N I S E A L L Y O U R P R O D U C T S F R O M Y O U R P R O D U C T S O U R C E T O A L L Y O U R P R O D U C T C H A N N E L S • This step begins the process of loading all of your products onto bidorbuy from your multichannel account. • The first sync may take ~30 minutes, thereafter future changes will reflect almost instantly

S T E P 6 - G O T O Y O U R M U LT I C H A N N E L O V E R V I E W PA G E • Once the initial sync has been completed you will be presented with a dashboard which gives you an overview of the product channel you have connected. It will also display the number of products which were synced and if any errors occurred. • Please make sure you view your products on your bidorbuy selling account once the sync is complete. Confirm the categorisation is correct and the correct shipping rates display under your products.
