This is just my humble effort to share insights and learnings from my career and things I wish I would have known back in the day. There will be advice, rant, anecdotes, things which worked for me and how devs can step up their game.

8. Care about writing “Optimized” code
9. Don’t Neglect *30% Of Your Job
10. Let go of “I am just a developer” mindset
11. Take interest in more than just the coding part of an app
12. Try to learn about User Experience (UX) Design
13. When needed, fight for your users
14. Step Up Your Game
15. For the love of Uncle Bob, Architect your app properly (MVP, MVI, MVVM, Arch, Redux etc.)
16. Learn Kotlin or you’ll be extinct
17. Write Tests because you are not Chuck Norris
18. Embrace the Functional and Reactive programming approach
21. Get involved in Automated Release Mechanism
22. Always have a playground/side project in hand
23. Understand how iOS ecosystem works and befriend iOS devs J
24. Attitude Matters!

26. Let go of cargo cult programming style
27. Work in a team where you find yourself as the worst programmer
28. Life is too short to tolerate bad bosses and team leads
29. Relax. Breathe. Hustle.
