hi
I know we make games. but...
Why do you make games?
No, really.
Sometimes we can't make out what we are here for.
So stop and think. What do you really want from
making games?
Experiences
Feels
Emotions
Messages
Then...
are you making those games? Why?
Life can be really crappy.
Working in the game industry can suck really hard too
But no powerful experience is made out of thin air
You have a lot baggage as a playful and imperfect human. You have been through a lot. And survived. So...
So why not make a game about that shitty moment
in your life?
That nasty break up
That awful night
Your awful boss
The journey with a health condition
Direct this unhappiness into something good
As good as a game
The game you wanted to make
It won't be an easy journey It is not easy
to face your demons. It isn't a comfortable spot to be in.
It won't be an easy journey But it will also
be insightful. And besides yourself, you may also help others.
You are a game developer. Make Games.
