The common point between these actions and experiences that has increased as society has undergone digitalization is the reliance that many IP holders have on other companies’ platforms. Many of the entertainment companies within Japan offer their content on platforms owned by other companies, so their customer base is divided and limited. On top of that, they must pay high handling fees (30-65% of their earnings). As time goes on, the entertainment industry is reliant on digital platforms. That reduces the direct contact with fans, so not only does it affect their earnings, but also makes it harder to analyze their users. This is the current situation.

The expensive platform fees apply pressure on users’ wallets just like a country’s tax revenue does. The division of media and complication of information worsens the media experience. Also, it becomes difficult to control fan communities and communication because of the reliance on platforms owned by other companies. By having users input their info such as email and addresses each time for each service, that ID base becomes another reliance. Because of that, the ability to analyze is limited and companies are unable to properly understand their fans, leading to off-the-mark policies and potential PR crises.

    Systems Based on Decentralized IDs Gaudiy Fanlink has a data analysis system that analyzes fans’ actions within the community and their consumption and purchase behaviors on exterior services using the contact info used for the decentralized ID (DID). By quantitatively analyzing fans’ actions, the community can be used to analyze the behaviors of passionate fans to make optimized marketing and offer returns.  Academic Cooperation to Jointly Research and Develop Functions such as a New Auction Method Gaudiy is working on collaborative research and development with professors who are top experts in their fields to offer fan-first experiences and services. To solve the issues of token volatility that exists, we’ve implemented the Trust Economy Bonding Curves, a trust score that responds to the community’s contributions. We also are using Gaudiy Fanlink as a verification test for the Gaudiy-Sakai Method Auction, an NFT auction theory that we developed jointly with Professor Sakai from Keio University.
